hmm, i dont think i would agree with that. vice city offers nothing really innovative or interesting, just some new skins, colours and playmodes (IMHO it would be a modpack in the PC community). It took around 2 days to finish the game, and I havent played it since.
The Getaway will be interesting though, for uk pplz at least ..

it took you 2 days to beat it? it takes like 80 hours to beat it all the way through.. everything in vice city is an improvement over gta3.. EVERYTHING.. the graphics, the weapons, the cars, the radio stations, the scope of the whole game..
they added motor cycles and airplanes and helicopters.. etc. |

I did finish the main storyline in 2 days, i know about the 80 hour thing, but the game (IMHO) isnt interesting enough to go around finding little packages after having gone through the main storyline (i did find all the stuff in the first game)
I have the getaway now too ... its really good, more like an interactive movie than a game. Dont know if the novelty of photo-realistic london and cars and stuff would be good for non-UK peoples, but still ... |

ya, its ownage. been out since wednesday. Lots of fun creeping through abandoned warehouses, shooting people with ak, mp5 and dual glocks. Lots of nice cars and police and stuff.
oh yeah and the missions are cool, like go to a crackhouse and waste everyone there (lots of little weed plants everywhere and yardies and stuff..)
definitely worth it |

games for PS2 are optimised and coded FOR PS2. That means their performance is damn good. GTA3/vice city both play well .. so um ... |

i've seen ps2 games lag. its kind of funny, as you cant do much about it.. Maybe a 100hz tv? (Not sure)
Consoles annoy me, i'll keep my PC.
although, i still want a snes and Chrono Trigger because emulators dont feel right :) |
