hrm, i got to thinking about the old times of the channel and came up with some names that were regulars a while ago , but havent been around much recently. any info you have would be interesting.
Yanndos
Vampirou (seen recently, but gone again)
Median
Torchy
TheThief (seen recently, but still gone again)

Here's stuff i know.
TheThief : i emailed him recently asking if he was alive. And... he is alive ! But he's not as much into warez as he used to be... I might try to get him back into the chan someday.
Median : He started his military service at the end of 2001. I've got no way to contact him... i don't even have his email :(
Vampirou : came into the chan recently and we chatted a bit. I don't really know what he's doing, but i'm sure he'll pass by from time to time. Next time i see him, i'll get his email.
I haven't got any news of Yanndos and Torchy...
And you forgot someone... X-Men :)
It'd be great to see him back in the chat channel...
Anyways, great idea to start a thread like that. |

What's happened to mr_Z? last time i saw him was like 2 months ago........ah the old crew, they were the best.
Also how about Floppy aka Polly? i know someone who knows him through other ways, but he's disappeared as well.... |

| mrZ is still around occasionally. i have him on MSN contacts and his pc doesnt seem to be online much, so maybe he's got out of the whole thing... |

oi
floppy(or polly as he liked to disguised as) went away after the fg4a chan on df mysteriously :) dissapered. He was active on the wave and in the last breath of http fg4a. Other than that i don't have a clue. This was ½ year ago, so i don't think we'll see him again.
I knew the others you mention, but i haven't had any contact with them besides irc, except for mr_Z who was a member of our fxp board divx247 (d247). He's still alive and pops in occasionally (which you also points out js995).
Some of them might be on that server Yagermeister and Gina are admins on, i can't remember the name though.
Great idea on refreshing old members, some of them were great.
oh and i have 200meg of old df love if anybody is interested ;)

| Yanndos came into our chan the other day. unix-security that is, and I still talk to Floppy on MSN. He got addicted to PS2 and dropped warez pretty much all together, but i hook him up with a movie every once and a while. MrZ is still around, hes at college and enjoying the partys, we had a chat last night and he says hes back in the way of warez, so i guess we will be seeing more of him.See a few more of the old timers, but some of you might not know/remember them. |
