any info you want to make the decision blablabla ... ask me
and ...
Why not register a DYNDNS for the IRC server the channel resides on.
i.e ... legal-crap.ath.cx = the server address at all times
that way, no matter what happens in the future, you have full control of where all the peoples go.
its just an idea ..... but its one of mine ... so therefore its better than most. (maybe) |

stop flaming me please.
Oh and i'd like to remind you i'm not the owner of legal-chat ;)
and i'm not the only admin...
k, i do think unix-security.net looks nice.
swipenet also seems ok.
Oh, and about that dyndns thing, it's not a bad idea i guess.
There, which network would YOU choose ?
(i'd choose swipenet simply because js, pezko and ship already have power there...)
(although... unix-security has more people...)
Alright, i choose swipenet.
Now, i'll create a thread asking which one you people prefer. |

Hello,
I'm the owner of irc.unix-security.net. We're currently looking for channels to come to our network. We are very friendly to new channels, and we would be willing to take sugestions on improvement from our users. Warez is not "Officially" supported, however there are a couple warez chans on the network. Our only real rules are to use common sense and respect other users.
Thanks!   |

Also, if you guys want I can setup a java based irc page for your channel.. i.e. http://www.unix-security.net/legal-chat/ would allow people to chat in your channel without an irc client (requires java support, however)
Just an added perk if you choose our network. |
