Talk About finding a load of XDCC bot's, dont forget were still a warez group, not a teaparty..
We need more servers, i say start pulling in more serving users.
Especially now GTA3 is coming. |

we've been thinking about this.
But currently, i don't think we've got much time for this (school, exams, work, blah, ...).
We're planning on bringing the warez chan back to life.
But i doubt big changes will be done before june/july... |

Exactly how are you planning on bringing the warez chan back? XDCC is dangerous imo, and I don't think I want to start hacking those thingies... actually I know I don't.
And what is the original reason for calling this meeting? |

ok, we'll see some other time for the warez chans... I personally don't feel like getting into something big, hacking stuff...
so, we'll see later on.
About why the reason for the meeting : ask oddduck.
I've got no idea why she called the meeting... nor what she plans on talking about.
I would've liked it if she had explained us a bit more than with her ad.

| XDCC's are in my opinion a must to get the warez channel back to alive, especially cause #0sec-warez has them to and they have about 170 users now. |

hmm i don't know the reason for this meeting either, but oddduck must do.
As for bringing back legal-w, I think it would be difficult to do so without XDCC service. But as you say pezko, it is dangerous and also highly unlikely that it would amass enough people to make it worth the troubble.
And it would probably fall under shadow of the other big warez chan on unixsecurity, namely 0-sec.
Ofcouse we could see if the old (and proved) solution of Fservers and FTPs would suffice, but i hardly think it would.

Ship, I made a list of topics .. and someone posted them.. somewhere on the board... the channel registration is only one of the points that needs to be brought up.. there are 6 in total that i could think of, a channel meeting is long overdue

| i wanna debate about why senior citizens shouldnt get discounts at the movie threature and why people dont tip the waiter at places should be terminated. Oh and maybe a lil bit of WE SHOULD DITCH THIS LAMER SERVER. I dont like the server admins. there are like 5 of them. and 2 of them DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT PC'S. I had to explain what a fucking vcd was to this guy :\ |
