I was thinking earlier, Like, what the best games ever were ... popularity wise. Like not just for computers but for everything. I dunno.. I know like i liked to play super mario brothers like 1-3 and then i played alot of duke nukem and simcity and more recently ive played like the sims and like golden eye i dunno... You guys play alot more games then i ever did.. My little brother loved half life, I doubt there will ever be a computer game that will be as popular as that not with the huge amount of releases they put out the door.. it was like.... the game of its time. I dunno.. I really shouldnt be talking about games at all. I just want to hear what other people have to say on the subject

Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Streets Of Rage (1 or 2), Monkey Island 1/2/3 (the 3 as not where its all 3d, but in the other original 3), Day Of The Tenticle, Sam And Max, Commander Keen, Prince Of Persia and finally....... Doom 2 (all other new games just suck. (mainly cause my comp cant run them (and they suck)))!!! |

I remember day of the tentacle, yeah that was one cool game. It took me a month to complete even WITH the walktrough, just because it was so big.
Anyway, I got RCT2, so there is another cool game, PLUS I got my paycheck and Ill be buying Super Mario Sunshine on saturday or something.
Still waiting for Zelda on the GameCube, after that Ill be happy to see the sun  . Also, Medal of Honor: Frontline is coming for the GaneCube, and I really really want that. |

Acidtwix, how long have you been using computers? Everyone I know agrees with me that games from 6/7 years ago (eg. Keen) completely own the games that are being developed right now in the terms of fun, originality and gameplay. There are just a view original ideas left (eg. Super Monkey Bal and yeah, GTA (NOT 3!) is kinda original as well) and people dont make games for fun, they make it for money. Ah well, I want the hidden game section to return!

i've played all of those old fuckin games, but we're talking about the best game of all time.. its gotta be gta3.. i cant stop playing it. its driving me crazy..
oh yeah, monkey island 1 and 2 kick ass, keen was alright, but shit like that doesn't last once you beat em. |

Best game ever; thats a tough one... I'd have to categorize, for all systems have had their plots of glory. This is personal preference though.
Im in a PAL area, so some games that should have been on the list isn't (ie. Eternal Darkness for NGC)
