I just want to say that almost all RTS games that are released today are crap! Why? Because there are almost no strategy at all involved, it's all about memorizing build queues.
Games like Homeworld or Ground Control and some others are the 4% that is not like that. In those games you have to use tactics, and most units are usable even in the end of the game, which is almost never the case in other games.

| Warcraft 3! hardly the "remember build queue" type of game, much more strategy involved, specially in the hero system |

| i think that the rts devs have just stopped trying.... I'd have to say that the rts element alone of shogun/medieval:total war beats most full rts games released these days |
